NSW: Easter show officially launched
The organisers of Sydney's Royal Easter Show say rural communities have shown truegrit by continuing their support.
NSW Royal Agricultural Society president ARTHUR BRAGG says the show's rural exhibitorsare among those who've endured the nation's worst drought in a century.
The show's first Grand Parade, which followed today's opening ceremony, featured morethan 700 prize-winning livestock at the Main Arena.
It was the first of four parades to be held during the show, with others scheduledfor April 18, 19 and 21.
The show runs at the Sydney Showground, Olympic Park, until April 24.
