Vic:Elderly man dies after being struck by bus
An elderly man has been hit and killed by a bus in Melbourne's north.
Police say the man, aged in his 90s, was hit while crossing the road at the intersectionof Plenty Road and Wood Street in Preston.
Paramedics treated the bus driver for shock.
The man's death takes the states road toll to 46, compared to 54 at this time last year.
