QLD:Wivenhoe expansion no guarantee: Bligh

Queensland Premier ANNA BLIGH says expanding the Wivenhoe Dam won't ensure that southeast
Queensland is spared future flooding.

Ms BLIGH says a significant review of the dam's capacity will be done after the record
flood that's expected to peak in Brisbane tomorrow.

But she says it's possible that nothing could hold back the kind of water that's coming
for the city.
